Longer pieces that set out what we think and where we're unsure. They're versioned and dated. When we change our mind, the old version stays up with a note. Nothing here describes how the reference implementation works internally; that comes with the open specification.
No paper is out yet. When one is, it will be here with its version and date, and a PDF you can keep.
